FAQS
Eyelash Extensions Kew
Frequently Asked Questions
How long do eyelash extensions last?
Eyelash extensions last between four and six weeks, following your natural lash growth cycle. To keep your set looking full and even, we recommend a refill every two to three weeks. With proper aftercare, your lashes will stay beautiful right up until your next appointment.
Do eyelash extensions damage your natural lashes?
No. When applied correctly by a certified lash artist, eyelash extensions do not damage your natural lashes. At Cozy, we carefully select the right extension weight and length for your natural lash strength, use premium medical-grade adhesive, and isolate every lash individually to protect your long-term lash health.
Does the application hurt?
Not at all. Most clients find the appointment so relaxing they fall asleep. Your eyes stay gently closed throughout, and the extensions are applied to your lashes , never to your skin or eyelid. You should not feel any pain, pulling, or discomfort at any point.
How long does a full set take to apply?
A Classic full set takes around 90 minutes to two hours. Hybrid and Natural Volume sets take around two hours. Russian Volume and Mega Volume sets take between two and two and a half hours, as every fan is handcrafted during your appointment for a flawless, lightweight result.
Are eyelash extensions safe for sensitive eyes?
Yes. We use medical-grade, low-fume adhesive suitable for most sensitive eyes. If you have a known sensitivity or allergy, let us know during your free consultation and we can arrange a patch test 24 to 48 hours before your appointment to confirm your comfort.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes if possible. Avoid oil-based eye products, waterproof mascara, and lash serums for at least 24 hours before your visit. Remove contact lenses if you wear them, and try to avoid caffeine right before, it can cause involuntary eye movement that slows the application.
