A Korean lash lift is a modern lash lifting technique that lifts and directs your natural lashes from the root, then shapes them through the lengths for a customised finish. The result is separated, elongated-looking lashes with a soft, natural effect rather than a tight curl.

The difference is the approach to shaping. A normal lash lift shapes the lashes around a silicone shield to create a curl. A Korean lash lift places greater emphasis on root lift, lash direction and placement, and depending on the system, different shields and application techniques may be used through the treatment. This creates a straighter, more elongated appearance instead of a defined curl.Neither technique is automatically better. If you want strong root lift, visible lash length and a soft modern finish, a Korean lash lift will suit you. If you love a classic defined curl, a traditional lift is the better choice. We can recommend the right option after assessing your lashes, and the consultation is free.

They describe the same category of treatment, but not the same result. Eyelash perm is the older term, usually associated with a tighter, more rigid curl. A Korean lash lift is a more modern, root-focused approach aimed at lifting and separating the lashes rather than curling them tightly. If you have had an eyelash perm before and found the curl too strong or too obvious, a Korean lash lift is likely to suit you better.

At Cozy Beauty in Kew, our prices are:Korean Lash Lift: $140Korean Lash Lift & Tint: $150New clients receive 10% off their first visit, bringing the prices to $126 for a Korean Lash Lift or $135 for a Korean Lash Lift & Tint. Our traditional Lash Lift & Tint is $120, making the Korean Lash Lift & Tint $30 more at the standard price.

A Korean lash lift lasts around six to eight weeks. The exact result depends on your natural lash growth cycle, lash condition and aftercare. The lift does not fade or drop suddenly. It grows out gradually as your natural lashes shed and new, unlifted lashes replace them. Because growth cycles differ between clients, your next appointment should be based on how much new lash growth you have rather than a fixed date.
